Lenten Series

Lenten Supper Series Wednesday Nights, 6:30-8:30 pm
Feb 24-Mar 24, 2010
in Grace Commons

Lent is traditionally a time of penance and self-examination. As we consider our own failings, we might be tempted to wonder how God could ever use “a wretch like me.” But in this year’s Lenten Supper Series, we’ll examine how God uses broken, sinful people to accomplish his purposes. By focusing each week on a tarnished saint of the Bible (drawing on the Old Testament), we’ll see God always accomplishes his Masterpiece, even using dulled tools like us.

This is a potluck supper, so please bring a dish to share, and feel free to invite friends. Each evening will feature a lecture by one of our engaging speakers, with Q&A.

Childcare: Families eat together; during lecture, nursery for ages 0-24 mos., and children’s program for pre-school and elementary kids.

We look forward to seeing you there!
